Things I learned about Ancient Greek culture was that they believed in myths, they came up with creations, and they built sculptures that we still hear of today. The myths that the Greeks believed in were they had to pray to the gods Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Hera, Ares, Athena, Apollo, Aphrodite, Hermes, Artemis, and Hephaestus for protection. I learned that the creations that the Greek culture came up with was pizza, by using flatbread and extra toppings. The Dorians brought ancient Greece into the Dark Ages. There was Trojan War and the battle of Thermopylae, 300 Greek Spartans versus many kingdoms.
ReplyDeleteA couple of things I learned about Ancient Rome is, their religions, the people, and places they went to. The Romans built an empire. They used the Temple of Vesta to celebrate the restoration. The Roman republic would have meetings. They also had the twelve tables of laws for the right of the citizens. During the Punic Wars, Hannibal lead his troops, including elephants, across the Alps and attacked to the north. I learned that the romans adopted Greek culture.
